Common Questions
How accurate is the AI food analysis?
DiaBuddy uses Google Gemini AI to analyze food photos. While our AI is highly accurate for common foods, results are estimates and may vary. Always verify critical nutritional information independently, especially for medical dietary requirements.
How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → DiaBuddy
- Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → DiaBuddy
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly in the App: Settings → Account → Delete Account. For detailed instructions, visit our Account Deletion page.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission and storage. Your food photos are analyzed in real-time and are not permanently stored on external servers. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Can I use DiaBuddy offline?
You can view your previously logged meals and nutrition history offline. However, the AI food scanning feature requires an active internet connection to analyze new photos.
What languages are supported?
DiaBuddy is currently available in English, Russian, and Uzbek. Additional languages are being added regularly.
